Bedrooms

The luxury bathroom features include a beautiful Jacuzzi, a separate glass-door shower, his and hers vanities with built-in sinks, mirrors, granite counter tops and elegant wood cabinetry. Roomy walk-in closets with shelves and hanging areas to store all of your clothes.

The living areas of the homes have high ceilings and are fully air conditioned and have ceiling fans. The use of ceiling fans are enough to keep the temperature at a comfortable level most of the year. No heating is required because temperatures are rarely below 60°F degrees. Structured wiring is in all rooms for high speed communications, internet, and television. Smoke and motion detectors/alarm system are wireless installations.

Walls are nicely textured with light earth tone colors to complement the beautiful ceramic floor tile and attractive wood base and ceiling moldings. Good-looking light fixtures are included. Indoor floors are ceramic due to the climate and patios are tiled with ceramic or all-weather material.

Windows have all-weather frames that slide vertically. All windows have double panes that open and have screening. Large comfortable terraces make it an ideal setting for barbeques and entertaining.

Furniture and curtains can be purchased at a variety of local stores in the Liberia area or in the capital city of San José (120 miles). Our interior designers can assist you in decorating and furnishing your house just the way you want it.

Altos Los Robles is a planned, exclusive and secure community overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The fifty-five acre property is situated on a plateau overlooking the bay. The property has stunning ocean and sunset views to the West or beautiful valley and sunrise views to the East. The ninety house development, with lots of 7,000 to 15,000 square feet, offers you privacy, tranquility and beauty. Sustainable Eco-Community

Altos los Robles is especially designed to accomodate self-sustaining living conditions in the event of emergencies like the recent Coronavirus crisis. We have our own water wells and pumping station, eliminating dependence the public water supply (AyA). Homes can be wired for external portable generating units and solar power is available as an option for your home. For years the local electricity distributor (ICE) has been very dependable, almost no outages during the year but nevertheless being prepared never hurts. We have arrangements with local restaurants and grocery providers for home delivery at Altos los Robles should this be of interest, and we have a new fresh market just down the hill 1 km. that opens at 6 am for daily purchases of fresh vegetables and basic staples.

We are developing further our in-property gardens with vegetable, fruit, and herb production available to our homeowners. Remember that we have 55 acres of beautiful land that is highly productive with irrigation available throughout the property so year round production of food is possible. Fruit trees are seasonal of course but include high production of mangoes currently, bananas and oranges have been planted.

Experience

Altos Los Robles overlook Papagayo Bay just across from the famed Four Season Resort in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, 11 degrees north of the Equator. The community stands between the Pacific Ocean to the west and the great plains of Guanacaste to the east, with sweeping views in both directions capturing water and ranch, ravine and foothill. The air is warm and scented with the blooms of a hundred plants. The ocean harbors whales and turtles weaving through bays and coves of white shell beaches for miles along the coast, north and south.

This exclusive residential community is designed with the unique ecological realities and assets of the site firmly in mind. A deep tropical ravine of 5 acres cuts into the ridge from the east, leading into a contiguous National Park that spills out to the plains below. The homes are served by two private and high production water wells.

The Four Seasons Resort across the bay is among the most luxurious in Central America. Tucked into other coves in the bay are the Andaz (Hyatt) Resort, the Planet Hollywood Payagayo Resort, a new marina of international stature, 2 golf courses, and public beaches and parks. Excellent restaurants are located within minutes throughout the surrounding area.

Papagayo Bay lies on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica about 35 minutes by car west of the provincial capital of Liberia (a vibrant town.) A smart new terminal opened at the Liberia International Airport (15 minutes away), with direct connections to major American and Canadian cities. The area is supported by numerous professional and service trades, first-rate retail outlets, local markets and stores. Ranching and irrigated farming at large scale are reminiscent of the American southwest, with extensive fields in all directions. Across the plains to the East rise the great Volcanoes of the central valley. The Inter-American Highway leads south to the mountainous Gulf of Nicoya and Puntarenas (three hours away), and on to the capital of San Jose (four hours away).
